New Year's Resolution for Fonts 4 Teachers

My resolution for year is to get better with discipline. For whatever reason I ignore at this point I begin the year very strong and my control over the whole class is perfect. But as the year progresses my attitude towards the discipline approach changes and this tends to create equivocal situations that affect my overall performance. I do not know if this is an accurate depiction of what happens in my class but that is the way I see. It is possible that other factors intervene in the process. I really do not know!

What is your resolution for this new year. Please share with us!

  1. I feel the same way about discipline in my classroom. At the start of the year, everything is all laid out nicely, but by the middle/end, I don't know if I just get lazy or what. Fortunately, I don't have any major issues because I am so strict at the start of the year... The kids get into the good habits when I am on top of things, and they stick with those habits throughout the year (for the most part). My biggest issue, I think, is organization. I'll have to get in on this linky later today (if I can find time in my day away from all of the other work that I've buried myself under haha).

I just became a follower today. When you get some time, stop by my blog! I've got a giveaway going on right now for reading strategies posters!

    Have a great day!
